By Rebecca Lyn Cragg,...

NEW THIS WEEK! INTERESTED in creating Tea Ritual in your life?
Introducing: OMOTESENKE-SEIHA:
RYAKU-BON TEMAE in the style of the first Headmaster, Issen Tachihara I

This detailed 70+step Tea Ceremony procedure is photographed and explained in detail. Designed for the serious student-practitioner, it is a useful memory aid and study tool for review of the Ryaku-bon service. It is also a historical record of how this service was developed by the First Headmaster. Currently Omotesenke Seiha students should keep this in mind while studying this manual and consult their current teacher for developments and changes.
For non-practitioners, this text is a good introduction to all that is involved in Tea Study. Each step is photographed and explained to facilitate your understanding. Photographs taken by the author in Kyo-an, the tearoom of Mrs. Kosaki.
